Time in the village.

Kaya was happy to have some downtime from traveling about, since she had not had much rest in quite a while. The villagers payed little attention to her while she went about her business, which was usual whenever she entered society. She preferred it that way since it meant she did not get into any disputes or get pulled into the affairs of others. She used her Ice Clone jutsu and and sent the clone to gather supplies while she searched for something to do around the village. She made the small amount of money she had by doing various missions for whoever was requesting ninja, so long as it did not involve harm to any specific village.

Kaya approached a butcher and politely asked if she could purchase a steak. For a moment the owner looked shocked, then he apologized explaining that he was not used to doing business with dogs. Kaya suddenly gave him an incredibly cold stare and said in an eerily level tone, "I am not a dog. I am a wolf, and I would prefer it if you would be so kind as to not refer to me that way." Her expression returned to normal, and she handed the man what she owed for the meat, oddly enough including a small tip.

After eating, Kaya's Ice Clone suddenly appeared, she took some supplies from the clone, then she released the jutsu. She decided to wander around downtown for a while to search for some work...

Kaya had now been in the Stone Village for a few days, and she had not found any major work around the village, but as she walked along the street, a bulletin caught her eyes. She stared at it for a moment, not quite believing it, but sure enough, it was a notice about her homeland, the Land of Snow.

She had not been there for a long while, but it seemed fate had chased her even here. The bulletin was in regards to a criminal who had taken refuge among there, it was asking for shinobi who new the land of snow well to aide in capturing them. She decided to find the one who had posted the bulletin. After talking with the shinobi who had posted the wanted bulletin, she accepted the mission, and set out for the land of snow.
