Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

This will release his nin dogs into the earth to follow their excellent sense of smell to track the targets blood. This allows Kakashi to track his short range target, even when he can not see them. This technique can also be used to set up his Raikiri. After finding their target the dogs will emerge from the ground to bite and pin down their target. This can allow Kakashi to execute the Raikiri without fear of a counter attack.

Chidori (a.k.a. Raikiri) is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Lightning Element. Chidori allows him to cut through any foe. Later, Uchiha Sasuke used his Sharingan and the training of Kakashi to also learn the technique. It was given the nickname Raikiri after it was said Kakashi used the technique to cut a lightning bolt in two. Chidori is used for assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, Kakashi and Sasuke's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack.

After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, Kakashi and Sasuke use their quickness and the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Because their opponent can easily counter the attack, it requires a Sharingan user to make the technique worthwhile. The Sharingan will allow them to predict any moves their opponent decides to make and send their strike home into the target. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name. Because of the great amount of chakra needed to utilize the technique, the technique can only be used so many times during the day.

Kirin is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke out of the original Chidori technique. Sasuke will first launch fireballs into the sky above using his Gouryuuka jutsu. These fireballs will warm the atmosphere and create a powerful rising air current, which in turn generates thunderclouds. Sasuke will then form Chidori and raise his arm to the heavens. This will allow him to channel the lightning down upon his target. Because he is merely channeling the naturally created lightning, he is able to utilize a power greater than what a ninja could create with their own elemental chakra. Because this is also natural lightning, it will travel more quickly than any ninja could dodge. Upon calling down the lightning, it will create a powerful impact with a large amount of destruction.

Banshou Tenin is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Deva Realm Pain. This ability allows Pain to manipulate external objects through an invisible force that emanates from the center of his body. This force allows Deva to attract and draw in objects or opponents. The force requires a short interval to recharge. To utilize the technique, Deva will raise one of his arms, which will send out the attraction force. If the person drawn in is able to anchor themselves to a nearby object, they can counteract the force. This can be overwhelmed though by a stronger pull.

Chibaku Tensei
Chibaku Tensei is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Deva Realm Pain. Utilizing a form of his attract and repulsion force, Deva will create a compressed dark sphere which can draw in surrounding matter as a massive source of gravity. By launching the sphere into the air, it will begin to draw in the surrounding area, including both rock and natural matter. This allows Deva to imprison a powerful opponent. Due to the high chakra requirements to perform the jutsu, Nagato may need to have Deva within a close range to maintain it.

A powerful enough force, such as a Kyuubified eight-tailed Naruto, can act against the attack and free itself from the rubble prison. When Nagato's ability to maintain the jutsu ends, the gravity force will stop and the rubble will fall back to the earth below. Nagato also revealed that though his version of the attack was impressive, it paled in comparison to the version Rikudou Sennin allegedly used to create the moon itself.

This unnamed ninjutsu technique is used by Pain to judge someone's soul. The Hell Realm Pain has the ability to utilize a spectral Enma, the ruler of the underworld. Upon grabbing the throats of his targets, their "tongues" will extend from their mouths. The Enma will open its mouth and extend hands that will grasp the victim's souls. Hell Realm will then ask questions of his victims, should they lie, Enma will judge them accordingly by removing their soul and ingesting it. As a result the victim will die.

Flaming Arrow of Amazing Ability-
The Asura path detachs and fire its hand like a rocket. Upon focusing chakra to the wrist, the hand will be launched towards the target. This chakra will also act like a magnet, to draw the hand back for reattachment. The chakra also functions to protect the hand, allowing its powerful strike to severely damage rock, but not the hand itself.

Flaming Arrow Missiles-
The Asura path pulls out its hand, which is revealed to be connected to the arm by a thick cord with missiles attached to it. The missiles then can be launched, causing massive explosions. These missiles can also come out of the Asura path's body, and launched at the opponents directly.

Chakra Propulsion Boots-
An unnamed technique used by Pain's Asura path. The Asura path utilizes chakra that shoots out of his boots to propel himself in a linear direction, greatly increasing his speed.

Laser Explosion-
The Asura path opens the top of its head, revealing a cannon of sorts. The cannon then releases a massive blast of chakra in the form of a laser, causing a powerful explosion that devastates the surrounding area.

Pain's Enma Revival Technique (Unnamed)

This unnamed ninjutsu technique is used by Pain to resurrect the dead. The Hell Realm Pain has the ability to utilize a spectral Enma, the ruler of the underworld. Upon opening its mouth, the Enma can ingest the deceased body. A short time later, the deceased body will emerge from Enma's mouth alive and healed of injuries. Pain has only used this technique on the bodies of other deceased Pain Realms. It is unclear if it will work on a non-Pain controlled individual.

Mind Reading-
By placing a hand on the target's head, the user will be able to enter the target's subconscious and extract any information needed, even if the target has forgotten it himself or has had it blocked. The Yamanaka clan has to use special machines and the assistance of other ninja to enter the person's mind, while Pain was able to do so by simply grabbing the top of their head. Memories that have mental blocks on them will require longer periods of time to probe through and obtain.

Soul Removal-
By placing his hand on a target's head this technique allows the Human path to rip the victim's consciousness (i.e. soul) out of them, killing them.

Blocking Technique Absorption Seal-
A highly advanced sealing technique that is capable of absorbing any chakra, regardless of any spacial or nature transformation, and dispersing it within one's body by spinning the chakra within one's body in the opposite direction. As a result, this technique can absorb any ninjutsu based technique, regardless of power, without harming the user.

This technique also has an offensive use. Should the user get close enough to grab the opponent, the barrier can absorb chakra right out of an individual's body, effectively draining them (similar to the Chakra Absorption Technique).

Chakra Absorption Technique
The Chakra Absorption Technique allows the user to absorb an opponents chakra. In the anime, it has been shown that stored-up energy can also be released in the form of a shock wave.

The user doesn't have to actually touch the opponent as it can be used through other mediums which chakra can be channeled, as Jirōbō did with his Earth Release Barrier: Earth Prison Dome of Magnificent Nothingness.

It is unknown if this technique is truly considered a jutsu or not. It has never been given an entry in any of the data books. However, it is not considered a kekkei genkai ability either, since it has been performed by three people with no known relation. It's most likely that the technique is simply an effect of other jutsu. Only Yoroi Akadō uses a plain chakra absorption technique. Orochimaru describes it as an unholy ablity but never goes into detail. Jirōbō and Pain's chakra absorption abilities are effects of entirely different techniques.

King of Hell/ Outer Path
The Outer Path (外道, Gedō) is the seventh path of Pain, not included with the main Six Paths of Pain. It has control over Life and Death. When used by the Naraka path, it's used for interrogation and rejuvenation.

It is used by the Naraka path for interrogation and is capable of discerning whether an individual is lying or not. When implemented on a target, a serpent-like apparition of their life force energy emerges from their mouth and presented to the figure. The Outer Path then proceeds to pass its judgment on the victim. If they are lying (or refuse to answer the question), their life force energy is consumed and they die. If the target is telling the truth, they don't die, though they're left extremely exhausted. When the Naraka path uses this technique, the figure possesses the Rinnegan eyes similar to how the Animal path's summons all possess the Rinnegan. The Outer path can only be seen by the ones it's being used upon.

For its second ability, the Outer Path can repair the other Paths of Pain should they be damaged or killed. When it consumed the remains of the Asura path, the Path emerged from the figure fully restored and is even wearing new Akatsuki robe (the body had discarded its previous robe). While the Outer Path is being used for this, it seems that others are able to see it, unlike when it is being used for interrogation purpose. However, it was Naruto in Sage Mode that was able to see it, so it is possible that normal people cannot, even for revival.

Lastly, the Outer Path can be summoned for the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, where Nagato can release life force energy to people who were recently killed and allow their souls to return to their rejuvenated bodies. This jutsu can only be used by Nagato, the main entity in control of the Six Paths. This power is said to transcend even the very concepts of life and death.
