Walter C. Dornez

Walter was originally born in Sunagakure, however his mother died in child birth and his father left not wanting to raise a child. The only legal guardians that were able to take Walter in were his mother's parents his grandparents two retired Shinobi who had moved to Konohagakure. Walter's grandparents travelled to Sunagakure the day they found out about his birth and adopted him bringing him back to Konohagakure to live with them and hopefully be raised as a Shinobi maybe not serving Sunagakure but to serve under Konohagakure. His grandparents back before they retired had both been S rank shinobi, his grandmother specialising in Puppetry and medical techniques with poisons while his grandfather had specialised in Fuuinjutsu and Ninjutsu.

When Walter turned three he began his training under his grandparents the two were only aiming to teach him the basics to the ninja life allowing the academy to take care of the rest. But since the beginning, Walter has been classed as a genius. Walter as time began to move on for the young boy he trained hard with his grandparents helping him use the abnormal agility, speed and acrobatic skill he had. As he trained Walter found a unique way to fight using strong razor sharp wises. He combined them with his abnormal agility, speed and acrobatic skills to create a deadly art of combat. The wires at first he only trained with one giving himself an advantage through long range. he practiced on stumps while at the same time using the rest of his fingers to control a puppet to combine his puppet fighting with his wire strings giving him an even deadlier combo.

Walter entered the academy at the age of 7 along with the other children. There he rose to be the best always coming 1st in everything from Taijutsu to Ninjutsu to Genjutsu. Walter practiced his combat with wires training to use more wires at once getting the point that he could use up to ten wires at once. His wire fighting style help him stay at the top of the class as he easily defeated the other students. During the wears he further practiced using puppets along with his wires. Before graduation he was able to use two puppets at once and five of his wires giving him a greater edge. Walter passed the Genin exam like his other class mates and was placed on a team with a jounin instructor where they were given a test to pass becoming a genin at 12

Walter after his team had been passed; he was pulled aside from his team, undergoing training with his grandparents. His grandparents had temporarily taken but their ranks as Jounin and had requested to train Walter for the next three years to help improve his abilities with his puppets. For the next three years Walter spent every waking moment training with his grandparents, learning to master fuuinjutsu, puppetry and his wires. During those three years Walter had come to master the use of using twenty wires at once ten wires folded over each fifteen metres in length. His mastery over his wires allowed him to form metal nets to shred and slice his opponents to pieces, even able to use his wires to create walls of metal to counter attacks. In those three years Walter had studied Fuuinjutsu from his grandfather becoming an advanced level three user, learning to use his Fuuinjutsu to power up his puppets. He had trained himself to use ten puppets with his fingers and by removing his shoes he is able to use his toes to create more chakra strings to control up to twenty different puppets. In those three years outside of puppetry, Fuuinjutsu and his wires, Walter studied extensively in different areas outside of the shinobi life, studying different areas of civilian life to learn how to create stronger and more durable puppets with new age technology.

When he came back at the age of fifteen, Walter joined a new genin team participating in different D to C to even B class missions alongside them, using his different puppets and wires to defeat the foes he came across. He slaughtered and maimed every enemy he crossed upon his missions bandits, thieves and enemy ninja, becoming known as the Angel of Death or the Puppeteer of Death. In the span of a single year Walter completed numerous team missions and solo missions even taking on a few A level missions by himself and coming back with success.

At the age of sixteen Walter entered the chunin exams with his genin teams. There he managed to get through the first round passing the written text. During the second exam he and his team hunted down other teams to grab a scroll to match their scroll so they could move onto the third exam. They spent three days out of five before making it back to Sunagakure where they were passed for the third exam.

The third exam was a tournament between the remaining four teams. Walter fought his opponents with ease trapping them with his wires before knocking them unconscious. he was always five steps head of his enemies at the end he became a chunin.

Current arc

Walter appeared in one of sunagakure’s training fields. He appeared by sand Shunshin sand blowing over the field as he appeared. The Chunin pulled out a cigarette lighting it up and taking a long drag from it. He blew smoke from his lips as he stood in the training field. He gave somewhat of a sigh of boredom. It was currently windy today sand blowing in the air obstructing his view slightly but that didn’t bother him he was here to train and that was it. He needed to get stronger with his puppets he wanted to be known as the greatest puppet user there was. He slowly grabbed one of his scrolls and threw it into the air and cut himself on a kunai. He grabbed the scroll running blood down it. In a puff of smoke appeared his puppet Setsuna. As she appeared he started to do hand seals, ‘Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!” Five puffs of smoke appeared around the training field into five stronger shadow clones. Walter took a step back as Setsuna withdrew her katana facing the five clones.

The clones each drew a kunai knife and charged forward. They raced in towards her swinging there kunai. Walter controlled Setsuna’s actions with ten chakra threads. He raised her blade making her block the attacks. He reacted to each kunai making sure to block them as the clones got in range. Walter pulled the threads back allowing Setsuna to float back as the clones tossed there kunai hitting the sand. He made Setsuna spread her wings allowing her to take flying. The clones withdrew there wires sending them towards Setsuna five wires each for a total of twenty-five. The large number of wires flew through the air. Walter controlled Setsuna making her fly around the wires before flying up high as the wires followed after her aiming to wrap around her. He quickly made her turn avoiding the wires. As she flew up Walter withdrew two of his own wires and sent them flying at the clones.

One of the clones retracted his wires forming mesh like shields. The wires ran along the shield causing sparks from the friction. The clone sent one wire flying towards Walter. The Chunin quickly back flipped away reeling Setsuna back in. She landed in front of him slamming her blade down upon the wire cutting it in half as wind chakra engulfed the blade courteous of Walter. Walter sent her flying across the sand her wings spread as she flew towards his clone. She raised one wing firing ten senbon needles ten aimed at the second clone. The clone sent its wires forward cutting through the senbon needles slicing them to pieces. Walter ran along behind Setsuna throwing a pair of kunai at his third clone. The clone used its wires to slice through them. Walter skidded along the sand and tried to kick his second shadow clone. The clone formed a mesh shield of wires to block the attack its wires trying to wrap around Walter. Walter used his puppet Setsuna to reel him back by grabbing his wrist. Setsuna tossed Walter into the air. The Chunin spun landing on his feed skidding backwards with a grin. Walter sent his wires flying forward. His wires tore through the ground as they flew at his shadow clones.

His clones rolled out of the way dodging the two sets of wires. The fourth clone raised a kunai blocking Setsuna’s sword as she dived at him clashing blades. The clone skidded across the sand as clones one and two sent there wires towards Setsuna. Walter quickly pulled her back just narrowly dodging the wires for her. Walter spread Setsuna’s wings making her take flight as she flew up high above his clones. She aimed her wings and fired down twenty senbon needles. The first clone took a deep breath, ‘Fuuton: Daitoppa!” He opened his mouth releasing a blast of wind. The wind slammed into the senbon needles sending them flying away harmlessly.

Walter withdrew another wire for a total of three. His three wires shot forward flying towards his clones. His clones tossed a kunai each with an explosive tag attached. The five kunai exploded as the tags went off sending the wires flying through the air. Walter made his fingers twitch causing the wires to flying down diving at the clones. The clones used there own wires to bat Walter’s away Walter sent Setsuna flying it. She sliced through the first two clones making them go up in smoke along with there wires.

The other three clones drew there wires sending fifteen wires flying towards Setsuna. Walter sent fifteen wires towards his clones clashing with there’s as Setsuna flew through the air flying high above the sky. Walter watched his clones as they threw numerous kunai at him. His wires shot through the wire slicing through the mass of kunai cutting them to pieces. Walter sent his wires flying up into the air before they came diving down on his remaining three clones. Two rolled out of the way only for his wires to wrap around the third clone slicing it to pieces. The clone burst into smoke leaving the other two.

The two remaining clones shot forward drawing twenty wires each. The mass of forty wires flew through the air tearing through the sand as they raced towards him. Walter drew his fifteen wires sending them forward forming a mesh shield. The wires grinded against the mesh shield. He battered them away controlling Setsuna making her fly in swinging her sword decapitating his fourth clone. The fifth clone shot forward sending its wires towards Setsuna. Walter retracted her dodging the wires sending his fifteen wires forward batting his clone’s wires away as Setsuna flew in impaling the clone on her katana making it burst into smoke destroying it.

Walter sealed away his wires and his puppet. He yawned and walked off leaving the training area. He vanished in a swirl of leaves heading home for the night. Tomorrow he would conduct another training session but for now he wanted to get some rest for his big mission.
