Kuroi-nen [Konohagakure Clan]

Kontse-norun: The art and technique of combining ones own bodily senses to one of a nearby animal or plant, to heighten sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. This is available only to the Heart Branch of the Kuroi-nen. This lasts as long as the recipient is willing. Any animal that is dying, injured, or angry cannot be combined with. Sleeping, Calm or otherwise is good for a potential joining of the Hearts.

Doryou-nohirosa: Simply enough, it is the expansion of ones mind, without external influence or learning. Doryou-nohirosa, meaning broad-mindedness, is related to this ability through intellect. It involved taking past knowledge from Ancestors, Current Family members, or any Animal or Person one rank above the user or below. Being a Genin, they can extract info voluntarily from a Chuunin, but no higher. Available only to the Mind branch of the Kuroi-nen

Kokoro-nokinsen: The art of combining ones spiritual mind with another person. This is usually achieved through the help of intense emotions like love, hate or sadness. This connect probably will only last as long as the other recipient is alive, awake, or willing to receive messages sub-consciously. Usually because of the connection of life-mates, one always has access to the other person’s emotions, thoughts, pain, and location. They cannot determine the exact location of an item or person, unless they have inside info, or an extremely good intuition. They can picture a place or thing in their mind, and send the other person an image, a bit like a modern day fax except through the connect of souls. This is available only to the Soul branch members of Kuroi-nen. This Kekkei Genkai was originally thought to have been Mind, but since it involved Emotions of the Heart, AND Thoughts of the Mind, it was combined to introduce the Soul Branch.

Description: After a strong connection is made to the nature and living things in around them, the user will take in a very small bit of nature chakra, and use it to detect anything and everything within a 5 mile radius of where the user is located. This requires extremely concentration, mastery of the all the other Clan Jutsu, and total, piercing silence. This jutsu can be broken at any time if the user is hit with a B-rank jutsu, weapon, or anything above that rank. It takes a while to re-establish this connection with nature. It’s basically a highly advanced version of merge, where the user connects their mind to all animals, trees, flowers, and other humans within the radius. A positive effect of this is that if the user connects to a person or animal, they cannot break the connection until the user faints, releases the jutsu, or dies.

It’s impossible to take control of an S-Ranks mind or senses. If attempted, the user’s soul may very well separate from the body. Yes, that would mean possible death. Only the clan leader himself would be able to use this jutsu on an S-Ranked ninja. While in this jutsu, neither the user nor the one being connected with can move. The connection releases a chakra virus into the one being connected to; this virus is aimed specifically to the motor systems in the brain. Speaking, breathing, or falling asleep is exempt from the movement restriction. A high ranked member of the Kuroi-nen clan, specifically an ANBU or S-Rank would be able to use this jutsu against one of equal rank and not die. (4 posts)

Description: Merge is a sub jutsu of the Kekkei Genkai ''Combine''. It’s the set up of the combining of senses with a person or animal, and during. Most prefer the animal, as they have higher senses than a person would. The heightened senses of the animal help track down or discover threats in the near by area, they would not be able to detect alone. The animal would continue about its business, but the user would be able to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel everything the animal is experiencing. Unfortunately, if the animal gets killed during the merge, it damages the user greatly, sometimes to the extent of paralysis. (3.5 posts)

Description: This jutsu, while being rather broad in use, is used mainly to effectively deflect and save ones self from any Genjutsu being directed at them. If the Genjutsu is S rank or higher however, it is not effective. If the Genjutsu is A rank or lower, use of this jutsu can immediately break any Genjutsu that was currently active. For a Genjutsu of C rank or lower, this may help another person break out of a Genjutsu trance. A bit like using Kai on other people, it has only been tested a few times in the past and came out with 100% accuracy. (3 posts)

Description: Relating as a sub jutsu to the Kekkei Genkai for the Soul Branch, this jutsu aids in the transferring of images from one person to another, using something like telepathy. The image transfer can be interrupted by going underground, the recipient dying, or the connection being voluntarily shut down. Transfer only lasts two or three minutes. (1.5 posts)

The clan, being relatively new, was developed approximately 23 years ago. Originally it was just a collect of people whose clans had died out, or deserted them. However, they all had some sort of connection to the three rings. Heart, Soul, or Mind. First there was only Heart and Mind, as no one though that soul was an actual ring of life. It took them about 10 years to properly construct the two original branches.

Because there were only two at the start, the third branch is often looked upon as a bit of a third wheel, and technically only a mix of the two. In actuality, Soul is completely different than the others, having abilities to use weak forms of Telepathy and strong bodily senses. Included the Sixth Sense, which is only found in the Soul Branch, Intuition. This ability was the only thing that set apart the third branch at the beginning. Eventually they developed more characteristics, different from the Heart and Mind branches. Since how Soul is relatively new, they have only come up with one C rank jutsu all their own, though it is extremely useful in many places.

Up until 1 year ago, the Branches lived separately, under no unity whatsoever, but sharing the same Kuroi-nen base name. The leaders of all three branches, and their designated Economy and War assistants as well, met in a convention, specifically to discuss the issues of the branches. There were constant fights, disagreements over trade, and prejudice of the Soul branch. After what seemed like several days of debating and fighting amongst themselves, the Consul finally wrote up the People of Kuroi Amendments and Peace treaties.

Jun was born into the Soul Clan, gaining her ability of the Sixth sense. Because of the never ending prejudice from the other branches, despite the treaty, she never had any friends outside her own branch, though her parents often tried to trade and make a positive influence on the Heart and Mind branches. Following up to today, the branches finally all live in the same area, corresponding and trading in a kind of friendly atmosphere, and at least tolerating each other.
