Personality: Izumi has a great love, bordering on addiction, for alcoholic drinks, so much that she is often seen drinking directly from a large beer barrel. She started drinking a young age, and her drinking amount has grown to the point that thirty percent of the liquor budget of the ramen shops goes down her throat. She hardly ever goofs off (except via the aforementioned drinking). Izumi is always level-headed, practical and a rational thinker. As a result, she is the one who tends to stress over details, especially when it comes to her alcoholic drinks and the village agenda. She often gets comically worked up over any irrational decisions, such as not having enough liquor or not doing something right. Izumi also looks after Chozo, Her pet frog. She is also a very kind and calm person but will immediately rush to the villages aide and in contrast will become fierce when somewhat ruthless; a testament of her loyalty to the Leaf village and its people, she'll also beat anyone she sees messing with her drinks to a pulp in a heartbeat. At the same time however, she is not timid and is not afraid of objecting decisions or voicing her opinion, she will clearly speak her mind to others no matter who or what they are. She is not the type to tire easily and is very energetic and efficient while acting in her capacity of Hokage, though she drinks the same amount of alcohol a day as she does paper work.
Appearance: She has a slender, but feminine build, fair yet pale skin, violet-blue eyes, and bright red hair that reaches her ankles, with strands that framed both sides of her face and a yellow clip that parts her hair to the left. She stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds and wears a white kimono top with a black sash around her waist with black lines around the sleeves. She wears form fitting black pants with standard shinobi sandals, with a pouch on her thigh to hold ninja tools with another small pouch on the back of her waist. She can also bee seen, during battle, having an Over sized scroll on the back of her waist as well.

Bio: Born into the Kanako family during wartime, Izumi li'ved most of her youth being caught-up in war, making her seek for a daily "peace". At a young age she was sent to and enrolled in the Konoha Academy to train and help with the village war effort, she was forced by her family to train every day and night, only getting a few hours of sleep each time she got a break, she barely had time to herself, this made her develop a very strict agenda and "style" of doing things.
Wanting to make a strong first impression on her first day at the academy, she proclaimed to her class that she would be the first female Hokage and the strongest Hokage to ever exist. The other kids laughed at her statement, and began calling her Strawberry because of her then-round face and fiery red hair She hated this, though she kept her attitude. This prompted her to lash out and pummel the kids who teased her, beating them down with her bare fists and causing her to try harder, developing her skills. She got so ticked off at them that she broke her normal code she had developed a different attitude.. This, in addition to her red hair flowing wildly around her, earned her the nickname of Red Hot-Blooded Habanero. She developed a special talent of for sealing techniques and summoning techniques.
Sometime after becoming a ninja after graduating and becoming a Genin in Konoha, Izumi was kidnapped by Kumogakure ninja who wanted to make use of her talent for sealing techniques. As they escorted her to Kumo she secretly plucked and left behind strands of her red hair to mark her trail in the hopes that someone would find her. A boy from her class along with his team, Naito, one of her classmates that Izumi had believed to be a wimp since she beat him up more times then one, was the only one to pick up on this with his friends. After a small battle with the group which she assisted in, they rescued her. He informed her that he had always admired her red hair and had a crush on her, and he admitted that thats why he saved her. Since Naito proved himself to be anything but a "wimp" and liked the one thing she hated about herself, Izumi fell in love with him, now considering her red hair as the "red thread of fate" that had brought them together.
After returning home with Naito, she was soon pulled away from him again by her family and its strict training. She was soon taught the summoning technique to bring forth frogs and such, soon being taught the ways of Senjutsu and sage techniques. The sheer training exhausted her for several weeks, she was taken from her home to Mount Myōboku to train Sage techniques. This pulled her and Naito far away from each other, after her training was done and she returned, she found out that Naito and his squad was killed in an ambush during a mission, this devastated her. After weeks of isolating herself in her room and rejecting her training, she found a reason to keep going. If Naito put his faith in her then she could keep going, she would keep training, keep going on and moving forward, she would be come Hokage, for him... She began drinking soon after becoming a chuunin after easily passing the Chuunin exam due to her advanced training, she was eventually told why she had to leave her home of in the farthest parts of the land of fire before she was born.Izumi was terrified by the idea, after hearing her small village was destroyed before her birth and that was the reason she and her family moved to Konoha, she felt anger and sadness, she already hated war... This fueled her to drink more to suppress her emotions. She hated the idea of people dying. She found her resolve once again by looking to the memory of Naito who she loved, she would be come Hokage not only for him, but for the people of the village, so they would never have to suffer, never have to be afraid of others.
As she grew up Kushina became renowned for her beauty and unique ninjutsu style, including the fūinjutsu of her family. At some point, during her ten-month training session she put herself through with non-stop training, no rest or sleep, rarely eating, she was told by her father that she had been promoted to a Jounin. Her skills grew so fast that even the current Hokage was impressed by it. She had proven that her family was indeed very skilled and reliable so she went out and celebrated by drinking with a few friends. She had then decided to leave home to go finish more of her training she put on hold earlier in life. She left the leaf village to go and train at Mount Myōboku with the Toad sages. She planned to master the sage techniques and surpass her friends even more. She trained day and night with the toads there, so much that she almost turned into frog numerous times during the process. She studied day and night, learning about natural energy and sage chakra, she learned how to become one with nature, become one with the things around her, she trained at Mount Myoboku for a year before she mastered Sage mode at this point in life, after finally mastering how to use it, she left for home again, she once again celebrated with her friends for her home coming by going out to drink! She stayed in the village and continued to go on missions like she normally did, eager to test her new abilities, after she did this she was then assigned to ANBU not soon after displaying the measure of ability.
She was greatly praised by the hokage and her peers. She showed great promise with her abilities and took on many Missions that others refused, completing them without complaint or hesitation. She completed many, many missions and her fame grew, soon becoming so famous that even the other villages began to fear her progress as a ninja. She showed so much progress that the previous Hokage nominated her for his position after he retired. She refused at first, thinking she was not fit for the job, though she had wanted to become the Hokage ever since she was in the academy, she had learned since then and grown in skill and ability, and respect for others. She continued her duty as a ANBU black opp, doing her missions and continuing on with her life, eventually at the age of 22 her father and mother passed away and the Kanako house was placed under her control, becoming lord of the Kanako estate. She drowned her emotions once again in Alcohol like always, god she loved drinking. She soon grew out of the depression, continuing her duty as a ninja. She even protected a few feudal lords from assassination attempts, helped suppress a few riots, even did a few assassinations herself working with the ANBU under Hokage order. Her fame was it its peek, well to her friends anyway, her ANBU missions were top secret after all, soon after the past Hokage retired and passed the torch down, and she was the only one left on the list of ones who were qualified - or recommended - to become Hokage. She hesitated at first, like last time not really thinking she was fit for the job, thinking she wasn't fit for the duty, but eventually accepted the offer. She now runs the village as Hokage, doing paper work and protecting the village....and drinking, of course...
RP Sample: Katon: Great Fireball Technique! Izumi placed her hands together and formed the handsigns before moving her index finger up beside her lips, exhaling the chakra she had inhaled moments ago, which combusted into a massive fireball and twisted through the air, the flames licked the ground as it expanded and flew threw the air before colliding with a group of other ninja, exploding into a cloud of smoke and flame. Screams shot threw the air just as it exploded and sent bodies flying across the ground covered in burns. The group that took the fireball head on were done for, but their buddies not so much. Izumis right hand shot to her pouch on her right thigh and flipped it open, pulling a kunai out and flinging it forward which collided with an enemy kunai and caused both of the to bounce off of each other, making a "clinging" sound as the two metal objects hit each other, the hokage rushed forward as chakra rushed to her fist, causing it to glow a bluish color. She stepped forward one more time before slamming her fist into the ground infront of her and causing the ground to erupt, forcing it to rip apart and causing the ground to crater around her, knocking the enemies off balance. The ANBU behind her rushed forward with Ninjato in hand, rushing into the enemy ranks. Weapons clashed together, jutsu exploded in the background. Izumi stood up and slammed her hands together, forming her handsigns as the ANBU held back the enemy.
Guys get back a moment! Izumi yelled out as she slammed her hand down, the ANBU jumped back just in time as a massive cloud of smoke appeared in the sky, out of the smoke fell a massive toad summon and fell onto the enemy group, crushing them all under its massive weight and cracked the ground under it.
Summoning: Food Cart Destroyer Technique!! Gamunta! Izumi jumped up onto the toads back and quickly made her way up to its head, the 250 foot tall Toad was smoking his pipe, dark brown in color and covered in bright red markings, he let a massive could of smoke out of his mouth and then looked around at the tiny army before him.
Where is the enemy?! The massive toad said, his voice echoing over the battlefield, moving his left hand over to his massive ninjato and pulling the giant blade from its sheath.
Lets go, Gamunta! Wipe em' all out! Izumi yelled, standing up onto of its head and began to make handsigns,
You got it! Gamunta replied before swinging his massive sword over the battlefield, the gigantic blade ripped the ground apart, sent ninja flying, and destroyed the landscape. He pulled his giant blade back and stabbed it into the ground beside him, his cheeks swelled up as he took a deep breath then exhaled, letting a massive stream of Toad Oil fly from his mouth over the battlefield, Izumi stepped forward on his head and looked at the oil before letting a fireball fly from her mouth as she finished her hand signs, the flame collided with the oil and exploded into a massive high pressured river of fire that washed over the area, turning almost everything to ash and killing the enemies before them.
Fire Release: Toad Oil Flame Bullet!! After moments of continuing the jutsu and making sure every one was dead, they stopped the jutsu and looked over the burnt and charred trees and landscape.
Thanks, Gamunta! I gotta get going now! Izumi jumped off the toads head and landed in a crouching position before the ANBU joined her, the three bolted off toward the trees as Gamunta exploded into a giant smoke cloud and vanished.
Smoke billowed up into the sky, metal clanged together as kunai ricochet off of each other, shadows shot from tree to tree as the ninja wared with each other. A group of three people jumped threw the trees, leaping off of the tree branches across the battle field, accompanied by two Anbu black opps, the hokage herself was making her way toward the center of the battle dressed in her standard outfit, a white kimono top with black form fitting pants and sandals, her large scroll tucked under her arm. Her face was dirty, her body covered in small wounds and sweat. The three finally jumped off of one last tree branch and launched threw the air, flying across a small river before landing on the other side. She looked onward to see the real battle ahead, multiple ninja clashing together, bodies flying threw the air as jutsu were unleashed, paper bombs exploded, kunai hit their marks, everything was hell. A few enemy ninja landed infront of them and rushed forward, weapons drawn. The two anbu acted instantly and rushed forward, pulling their ninjato from their backs and slashing the enemies across the chest, quickly dispatching them.
Guys! Give me some time to prepare the jutsu! She flung the scroll to the side while still keeping a tight grip on the edge, letting it roll out into the air before she sat it flat on the ground, the anbu nodded and put their hands together, making a small group of shadow clones around her.
Yes Ma'am!! Izumi had a map of this area drawn inside her scroll for her before she departed to the field, this was the main area of conflict and the enemy ninja were here, most of her ninja had evacuated and only shadow clones remained, so she didn't need to worry about hitting her own people.
The Hokage bit her thumb and slammed her palm on the map inside the scroll, then did a hand sign with her other hand.
Barrier Gate Five Seals Technique: Castle Closing Eight Gates!! CLOSE! She yelled, causing a purple glow to come from the scroll, outlining the map on the scroll. Just as it happened, a large square box with a transparent purple walls formed over the massive area, with 4 large gates raising out of the North, South, East, and west areas, completely sealing the area off. Enemy ninja noticed this and rushed toward them, but just as they touched the wall and instantly burst into flames before falling to the ground. The anbu froze in amazement at the sealing technique, it was so huge it was almost impossible!
E-excellent, hokage-sama!! We've trapped all the enemies inside! Izumi stood up, taking deep breaths after releasing the barrier on the area, she was already low on chakra when they arrived, this didn't help her at all.
This technique requires a scroll on which a blueprint of a particular area will be mapped. When activated, it causes four giant gates to emerge north, east, south, and west of the targeted area. Afterwards, the gates will form a barrier around the area. This barrier has a very high durability, anything that makes contact with it will immediately be engulfed in flames. The only way to pass through the barrier unharmed is with a special seal.... She knelt back down by the scroll and bit her other thumb again, then began doing handsigns.
Now that they are trapped in an enclosed space, i can do this and end it! She slammed her palm on the scroll again on a different seal inside the scroll. The inside walls of the sealing technique began to grow strange life-like walls and eventually covered the area so much, nothing inside could be seen.
Summoning: Crushing Toad Stomach!Everything inside was being swallowed up and crushed by the toad stomach that was summoned inside the barrier, soon after the screams stopped and the two jutsu vanished and broke apart, turning the area back to normal, only littered with bodies.
Mission....Complete! Izumi said, gasping for air at this point after using such high level techniques after already having low chakra. She placed her hand on the ground and coughed a bit, the anbu turned around and immediately went by her side and threw her arm over their shoulder.
Hokage-sama! Are you alright?! We need to get her to a medical team! The other Anbu nodded as they jumped up into the air and into the trees, one of the clones grabbed the hokages scroll and followed behind. The victory of this battle would give them a major upper hand in the uprising and would eventually lead to victory for them.
