Kekke Genkai: The Litiji, changed eyes, lightning manipulation and family jutsus.
Personality: Loki is frequently described as clever, cerebrally and verbally quick, enthusiastic, outgoing, innovative, and resourceful. He is motivated by a desire to understand the world he lives in, and improve it. He's also usually very accurate when sizing up a situation. Loki however has a perverse sense of humor and sometimes plays devil's advocate, which can create misunderstandings with his fellow kumo ninja. The jounin is quite ingenious and is adept at directing relationships between means and ends. One of the things he is more known for and the reason behind him becoming a jounin is his ability to "think outside the box" and come up with fresh, unexpected solutions to difficult problems. However, he is less interested in generating detailed plans or following through than in generating ideas and possibilities. Loki regards a comment like "it can't be done" as a personal challenge, and will spare no expense to discover a solution once properly motivated
One of Loki's hobbies besides training, is pulling pranks. He is often doing this around the village unless he is busy, this of course has kept him going from mission to mission spending months at a time out of the village. For the most part Loki keeps to himself and rarely starts a conversation unless he knows it will annoy the person. Truly dedicated Loki would lay down his life to save his village, while he can't say that for every person in there he can at least say that for the village in general. Throughout his missions he has become a bit distrusting of human decency and is slipping into the belief that human's are naturally evil. This has caused him to become more lax on his general outlook upon life and has actually made him more relaxed about what he does. However this has not made Loki a more evil person in his day to day life.
Appearance: Bio: The history of Loki Temna is a long and arduous one, one best explained by Loki himself.
Well, it was a day like any other or so my parents tell me, when I was born. My mother survived the birth of course so don't expect this to be some orphan tale, or a broken heart sob story. That doesn't come until later, but I'm jumping ahead. Anywho, I learned how to throw a kunai at the age of four.
I was trained to be an assassin from birth you see, made to serve as the unseen hand of the kage. My parents were the same way, in fact ever since the foundation of Kumo my family has been there silently waiting until we are needed. Some people would resent having such a narrow future, but I embraced it. I mean I had to I was the chosen of the clan, not that anyone knows I won't use my power like that.
Ever since I was young I knew that I carried the power and that spurred me forward in my training. The power only bestows itself once every ten years and I would not be some lazy Conduit who only skidded by on the power.
No, I was determined to be skilled at ninjutsu and taijutsu. I was trained since the age of three, I passed the chuunin exam at seven, and I was duty ready at the age of twelve. Such training may have broken some but it was all done in a loving environment only during training would my parents turn into uncaring monsters. Of course I know why they did, it was to make me better.
It worked, partly due to my own inner drive. I remember the chuunin exam like it was yesterday, I knew some of the clan's lightning techniques which helped me fly through the test. The only part I had a hard time on was the written exam, I didn't want to sit crammed in some room writing down answers or sneaking them from others.
As such I simply began to analyse the questions finding out what answer could be argued right. Finding such answers were easy since they were all non direct and I was sure the test was to see how many people were caught anyways. So after I waited impatiently before the test was completed and we moved to the next.
The next test was straightforward and simple, the way I liked it. Instead of saving the tournament for last they had a giant free for all. This is where I shone dancing between opponents and shocking people into unconsciousness. I remember the instructor congratulated me on taking out fifteen other ninja before the time period was up.
There were only ten of us left and I eagerly awaited my next challenge. I was ready to prove to my family that I was ready to continue my training and help my village. Luckily for me the next was a race, not a simple race jutsu was involved after all but when I am running with others I find it easy to slip ahead. This race was such a case and I was soon shooting lightning behind me as I sped ahead of the other ninja each easily twice my height and at least five years older than I.
One ninja gave me a problem, it was a Suna ninja who rode on a wave of air. None of my techniques could pierce the barrier so I had to use my taijutsu skills to break through with my fist. He was a bit stronger than I however and soon it became just the two of us throwing punches as we neared the finish line. Blood was covering each of our faces and our bodies were battered and bruised as it came down to a battle of wills. His broke so easily, and there I was limping across the finish line.
After this I noticed that I garnered a lot of attention around town for being such a young chuunin. This was when I first made friends and I explored much of the village instead of staying near my house. I made friends with everyone if they fit into the correct personality type. It didn't matter how they looked, their age, how they acted. As long as we could click I was fine. Being curious I found my way into the Kage's room soon after being a chuunin and thats when I received my first mission.
It was a long and winding road from the chuunin level to that of an acceptable assassin, I made it there in just five years. Those were the last of my carefree missions, the first too now that I think about it. I really didn't have much of a childhood but as that is all I really wish to speak about that is what will be covered here. In fact we have time for me to speak about one of my missions and then I'm wrapping it up.
I was ten at the time and along with two fellow chuunin each at least fourteen and two jounin I escorted a small noble through our country. As you've guessed it was eventful and we were attacked by a missing ninja from Iwakagure, he killed the two jounin before we knew he arrived. The other two chuunin went in front of the noble while I went ape shit on the man who appeared from the fog. Boy do I mean bat crazy, by the time I was done they had to clean me with a hose. The rest of the trip was fine but that was the first time I had seen death in person.
The rest of my life went much like that mission to mission it got worse and worse erroding my faith in humanity and turning me more into the killing machine that I am today. Don't get me wrong I'm still the same person for the most part and I don't like showing my distaste in public. No like most of my life that fact is squared away in my mind. Odd how I life this lie and yet I'm still happy, I must be insane.
Alright I suppose you need to know about one mission, it was a family mission not one for the village. Top secret, hush hush and all that jazz. To get straight to the point I needed to kill my cousin, no small task considering the man was ten years older than me. Which of course meant there was a chance that he had the power. Only those of us with the power know when that fateful day will come and from what I remember he was dang near close to exactly ten years older than me. Naturally when I knew where he was I panicked and killed him with the power. Its not something one does easily, first I had to trick him into a good mood which set him upon a walk near a ravine. Then I shut off his eyes and let the fall run its course. It was only after I had killed him that I realized he couldn't have had the power. He would have known that his mind was affected...he would have known.
Soon after this he left the village and is now just a traveling ninja.
RP Sample: The glass shattered as a Kunai darted in, naturally Loki continued to sit. In fact he ignored everything besides that up until Kikai opened his mouth. Nothing really mattered to him except the leader's plans anyways.
Loki picked up the blueprints and examined them while Kikai spoke. It seemed as though he was in charge of Orokan and Karan, he would have preferred the other group but perhaps he was there to keep them in line. The actions of Karan justified this thought however Loki continued to just sit there examining the blueprints kind of wondering who would come out on top.
"You two would do well to stop fighting after this tuffle, next time I will find replacements for you." the mechanized voice of Loki spoke with a bored tone to it. "That will also not save you from anything Orokan" Loki noted what the man did, a pathetic attempt to stop Loki who would simply pry open his head if he wanted to, and at the drop of a hat.
"Now if you babies would stop lets actually do something constructive" the past two sentences were spoken with venom and hate inside them. Could they not handle themselves at all? Karan most certainly could not, and he would have to be punished.
