Reporting Users

Now, on every RP forum, there is always some form of issue...

Whether some asshole is spamming a topic, offending other members, or just acting like a jerk, these problems exist. So, here is your handy guide on how to report posts/members.

Before we begin though, one thing.

If I get a SINGLE post that isn't genuine, I will set my admin-y rage upon you.

In all seriousness though, don't report people just because you have a personal grudge against them, or something that's not-serious is going on.

Now that that's out of the way, I will now report one of Agito's posts as an example. Now, what warrants a report? If someone is being:

-Offensive to yourself or other members
-Spamming or soliciting in a topic
-Being an unwanted poster, and they won't leave the topic alone
-Being a really REALLY huge n00b. (Ex. dey tlk liek dis nd r rlly stpd)
-They're breaking the rules
-Or some other actual issue that is especially irksome and won't resolve itself.

Now comes the handy-dandy guide part.

STEP ONE. Go to the post in which they are doing something wrong, and click on the exclamation mark thing. I have pictures and everything to help you out.



See that exclamation point beside 'edit' and such? That's the button. You shouldn't see the 'edit' and 'delete' options, but you get the idea.

So yeah, click that, and you'll be directed to something that looks like this:



See that drop down box? You will see a list of a variety of reasons as to why you're reporting them. (I know it says reason for editing, but I don't understand that. You're reporting, don't worry.)

Select the reason, and then go into the actual typing box to outline your problem. Please actually describe why you reported the post/user, or I'll be mad.

When you're done, send it in, and I (and I believe all the admins) will get an email informing us someone reported something. Then, we go to the handy report list, and we'll see your report.



Like that. From there, we'll read it and take appropriate actions.

I believe that's it. Please try not to be the person that gets reported. Everyone will hate you forever.
