Personality:On the surface, Roy is a decidedly shallow and self-absorbed man, infamous among many of his colleagues and subordinates alike for the selfish and narcissistic aura he gives off. Easily as arrogant as his young friend Edward, Mustang is wont to act in an ostentatious manner and appears to act mostly out of self-interest rather than any sort of philanthropy. He comes off to most as a sort of cocky layabout, shirking most of his duties and delegating his work to team mates while sitting idly in a tree or on the grass with an amused smile on his face as he procrastinates, but quick to take action when it appears that there is glory and military notoriety to be gained. Roy is expertly manipulative and prone to think several steps ahead of those around him, giving him a remarkable talent for making subordinates act exactly as he wishes despite appearing not to have had a hand in their decisions

Roy also has the reputation of being an incorrigible womanizer, spending much of his time cavorting about town with various women and wooing several of the servicewomen with his abundant charm, good looks and charisma. This adds another facet to his unpopularity among the enlisted men, many of whom have had their sweethearts and crushes romanced away from them by his hand.

However, while these traits do have a place in his real personality, much of his outward persona can perhaps be considered an intentional façade perfectly designed to cause those unfamiliar with him to underestimate his remarkable intelligence and ability. Mustang is an exceptional tactician, well-versed in various strains of combat theory and particularly talented in the realms of surreptitious information-gathering, covert operations and enemy ensnarement. At the core, he is a remarkably devoted commander whose primary focus and personal duty is to his friends and subordinates. Though he hides it well behind a veil of cynicism and self-importance, Roy Mustang is a man who cares deeply about the people who trust and support him and goes to great lengths to ensure their safety and well-being, even at the risk of his own. As a man with considerable power, Mustang considers himself a protector to those without and acts accordingly, earning the staunch loyalty of his most trusted compatriots.

Unfortunately, his self-imposed position as protector has caused him to display a penchant toward stubbornness in regards to his pride on the field and a fiery temper, both of which have been shown to cloud his judgment in certain situations.

Roy was born he was born in the middle of the thrid great shinobi war what he saw made him want to stay out of the shinobi world but his parents urged him to become a shinobi to kill so he enterd the academy younger then most at the age of four in witch he learned the basics he stayed away from most but lashed out at the pepole who came near him he graduated at 7 and was put on a team with two boy his sensai kept him away from his famliy.

There sensai gave them the bell test Roy came up with the plan after seeing one of his teammates speed and knowing of the hyuuga's infamous doujutsu and with his own fire gloves they got the bell's after a plan of having the fast one use his speed to trick sensai into falling into a trap Roy had built where sensai was stuck then witch the hyuuga would trigram sensai to where he couldent move to then witch when he finally got unstuck Roy ran and grabed the bell's the sensai passed them and they went home for the next year they completed 50 D-rank missions and 4 C-rank.

then one day there sensai told them they were going to enter the chuunin exams. They passed the first test with ease then came the second test in which sadly one of them died pushing the other one out of the way of a falling tree when they got out of the forest the boy had to fight in a tornament like fight. Roy was in the first match as the fight begun his teammate ran at him as he flashed through hand signs and yelled the name of the attack which was Fire Style: Art of the Dragon Flame his teammate was not thinking it was a strong attack neither was Roy it had drained every last bit of chakra he had but he could still stand teammate on the other hand was burned to a crisp Roy droped to the ground He walked up next to his mother and half brother to watch his sisters match to which she basicly killed the guy he sighed i killed my best freind he was called down for another match he said now. Roy growled in rage as he rubbed his fingers together and sent a fire blast through the man. He now had a month to waist while the second round of part three was under way so he just hung around kiri for a month he was attacked by a ninja from konoha a hyuuga to which he used his gloves to shoot a fire blast through the man. When the month was up he had to fight two pepole a boy named shari and a girl named sue which was said people team mates were killed by his sister his first match was a match against shari. Shari let off a sonic wave which hurt like hell in return he fired a Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Missile at him burning a hole right through him he smirked as he watched him fall his other opponet gave up after seeing what he could do he was one of the pepole put as chuunin they knew what his freind kintaro could do so he was made chunin aswell

which it turned out to pass he had to fight his sensai it was a hard fight for Roy he ran at his sensai and flashed through hand signs he blew a stream of fire at him and watched as his sensai doged Roy flashed through hand seals again and made the ground into mud and fired a flame into his sensai doged again Roy was then in front of him and punched him in the jaw breaking it his sensai gave up and he was promoted to jounin.How ever he left the village and became a missing ninja.On his way out a few chuunin attacked him in the forest.He lite it on fire and got out of there.He is now on his way to kiri.
