Name: Akemi Hyuuga
Nickname: Aka-aka
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Rank: S ranked rogue nin
Former Rank: Jounin
Village: Leaf
Affiliations: None
Elements: Water
Kekke Genkai: The hyuugan kekke genkai of Byakugan
Personality: Akemi is easygoing and carefree, understanding the consequences of her actions but mostly not caring. Though with missions or her family she betrayed, that is another story. Some of her opponents look on her as if she is reckless and unreliable, though she later notices this and tries to prove them wrong with her genius IQ. Her attitude is of that of a rebel; she only serves who she wants to serve and does things her way. If she is forced otherwise, she accepts with great reluctance. Her personality is stubborn and sadistic, empathetic, sarcastic, carefree, and rarely serious. When she is serious, she is described as rather depressing. Her aura is of that of a leader; when she has to go in front of a crowd or is asked for her opinion on something, she holds nothing back and is very passionate about her interests. In battle Akemi is nimble and swift, occasionally taunting her enemies and purposely trying to make herself appear weak. When she does come across as weak, she strikes hard and relentless in her mastered hyuugan techniques and knowledge of vital and chakra points. Akemi enjoys her opponents pain, savoring every moment of it and thriving off the feeling of being alive when she sees the crimson red of blood or hearing the scream of an opponent in pain. She fights battles only as long as she is threatened or they are necessary, seeing a useless battle not to be fought if she could help it. But when she does fight, she ends her battles slowly and painfully for her opponent.

Bio: Akemi was born in the main branch of the Hyuugan family, one year before Hinata's birth. Hiashi Hyuuga, the leader of the clan, decided that he wanted to create the 'perfect Hyuuga' and put her under training shortly after she could walk. The training was relentless; day after day all she knew was work, train, and little play. By her fourth birthday she began acting emotionless and apathetic, soon speaking next to nothing and acting only when told. This didn't upset her parents, as long as she trained to be their ideal Hyuuga, they were happy. Hinata had tried to reach out to her older sister, though Akemi only looked at her with an apathetic expression and didn't care. Eventually Hinata gave up, Akemi being spoke about less and less in the clan.
On her seventh birthday, Akemi had already mastered the gentle fist style and had the rank of chunin placed upon her. She still acted numbly and apathetically to her surroundings, her parents acting as if they only cared about her progression in training. They described this as just a phase that lasted too long, and would soon pass. She ran away from the building with the excuse of going out for a mission, running into the Konohakagure forest tears running down her cheeks as she began to feel emotion once again. She stood on the edge of a cliff, looking out over the edge and breathed in... feeling free for once.
This feeling ended when she thought she heard a rustling on the ground, her albino hair blowing in the wind as the sun had set. When she turned she was astounded to see a person with a venus flytrap on his head, two different colours of black and white resembling a plant. She walked towards him hesitantly and looked at him, her violet pupil-less eyes appearing red around them from crying, a startling colour on her white face.
"Are you not afraid?" Zetsu had asked, his yellow gaze locked onto the seven year old.
"Why should I be?" Akemi replied, emotionless, her voice lacking the innocence and childishness a seven year old should possess.
"I am not human..."
"As I am not afraid."
They spoke to each other, moreso the White Side as the Black Side did not like her, and Zetsu spoke nothing of his childhood. Akemi got up suddenly when he said that it must not have have been that bad when she commented on her position, her violet eyes ablaze with a passion that seemed to give colour and life to the child. She told him everything, Zetsu listening and dropping a few comments from time to time, and felt as if a burden had been lifted from her shoulders when she finished. By this time the sun had already set, the crescent moon high in the sky.
"You understand your position well and understand that. I admire that," Akemi was surprised to find Zetsu's voice had changed... this was because his Black Side were speaking. "Do not bow to anyone who does not deserve it. When you are alone..." The soft voice returned. "You can only rely on yourself."
With that he disappeared, Akemi returning to the Hyuugan estate feeling a sense of
emotion within her chest. She took his words to heart, and began slowly to develop her own way and her own personality once again. She continued to progress in her training flawlessly, looking into sources and listening to gossip upon what the design on Zetsu's cloak was. By her fourteenth year of life, she had found out the name:
Akatsuki. Akemi thought about this group that was so rarely murmured in the Leaf village, and heard that they were seeking peace in the shinobi world. She thought about this; in a world with peace, there wouldn't be any reason to work a child and train them until they had no emotion left. There wouldn't be any reason to create a 'perfect Hyuuga'. She then prepared to leave the Leaf village in search of Akatsuki, taking precious Hyuugan scrolls along with her to learn new jutsu that her father hadn't taught her already. To this day she is still in search of joining Akatsuki, though not yet successful.
